    Description

    Schedule 80 PVC TBE Close Nipple. Schedule 80 PVC is stronger, more durable than schedule 40 with same outside dimensions for compatibility. These TBE pipe nipples have male threads on both ends (TBE). Used to join two female threaded connections in close quarters.

    - Some pipe joint compounds or Teflon pastes may contain substances that could cause stress cracking to plastic. 1 to 2 turns beyond finger tight is all that is required to make a sound plastic threaded connection.
